Rodeo Time

This post is a little late, but better late then never!! We took Scotlynn to see the bulls and horses during the day, after that is all she would talk about so Robert, Tennille and I decided we would "buck" up and take he to the actual rodeo!  She loved every second of it! Travis was up north with Michael visiting Michele and Brent's families and also got a little zoo and Chuck E Cheese action in as well. We missed him a lot, but I am glad that he has such good uncles that enjoy his company THANK YOU Michael!!

My Dancing Queen

Okay, Scotlynn will never be a fantastic dancer due to the fact that she trips over her own feet on a hourly basis, but it sure is adorable to see her in action in her class!

She isn't quite comfortable with Miss Natalie touching her in anyway yet, but I don't have to hold her hand through the entire class anymore. Baby steps is what I keep telling myself!

The highlight of Tanners football career!

That is one proud Grandpa!

Tanner plays football for Dixie (yuck) I try to support my nieces and nephews in what ever it is that they are interested in. It takes a lot of my time because Ashlee does have so many damn kids! Anyway, Tanner plays on the Dixie Flyer's freshmen team (crazy that he is that old already) and Wednesday he caught an interception WAHOO!!

Trav had to leave the game early to get to his own football practice and sadly missed Tanner have the game of his life!

Scottie is one of Tanners biggest fans..............or at least that's what we tell him, he doesn't know that she actually thinks she is at a Vikings game and cheering for Farvereno!!

Horses and Ducks

so now that I have a little free time (yeah right) I decided to help out more in Travis' class room. My first room mom responsibility was to take pictures on cowboy day!  Travis has the most awesome teacher this year who happens to be a real cowgirl. Mrs.McGregor brought four of her eight (I think) horses to the school for all of the third graders to ride! It was so fun watching how excited the kids got, most will never get the opportunity to ride a horse. Afterward they went back to the classroom and decorated a cowboy boot and each kid got their very own horseshoe!

 

On a side note........how adorable are these little ducklings?????? They are only a couple of days old and right now live next door to my mom and dad! I am seriously thinking about taking a couple home for backyard pets!!

Getting Excited!!

If my calculations are right we have 7 full weeks until our VACATION!

I am so excited to go but now reality is hitting,  all that is running through my head is all those hours on a plane and the nerves are kicking in. My awesome husband bought me a new camera yesterday and I cant wait for it to get here. I hope I get some awesome video and pictures of our trip! I am going to book all of the B&B's today and I will post the pictures that they provide! We still have to figure out where the kids are going to go but the minor details will work themselves out right?

I hope my passport arrives in time!

What a great Friday! 

Ive got the cleaning lady here (I am going to do a special post about her so stay tuned;-) ). The weather is perfect, Robert is home and so far the kids aren't driving me to drink!

3rd Grade

Okay, so I am pretty sure that I wont be getting a mom of the year award anytime soon and erasing Travis' first day of school pictures probably solidified that fact! I cant believe Travis is in 3rd grade already WOWSERS that's more than half way through his elementary! I love this kids so much he is a great brother and an awesome son! We cant wait for your football season to start so I can start posting some picture of you! This has kind of turned in to a Scotlynn blog mostly because you are to OLD to get your picture taken now....I get it!!

Scotlynns nose is gross I know...for all those who are looking that close! It wasn't worth the fight I decided to choose my battles that day and the nose wasn't one I wanted!

The Garden

I took the kids to The Garden park today to get some shots! Mostly because I deleted all of Travis' first day of school pictures before I got them off the camera.... I'm not the only one to do something so stupid am I? Anyway it didn't help that Scottie is sick, I think I am coming down with strep throat or something and Trav spent the night before at Michael s and didn't get a ounce of sleep....can you say red eyes! Oh well, I just uploaded them (before I lost them) and came across these two and I LOVE them!

Tiny Dancers

Logann and Avary started dance last Tuesday! Scotlynn loved watching and really wanted to go in and let loose but the class was for the big three year old girls. I signed her up for the two year old class and I am so excited! I wonder if she will be shy like Avary or teachers pet like Logann??? Or maybe she will just sit and scream in true Scotlynn form, she sure doesn't like being told what to do (I think that must be a Hirschi thing????? yeah right......... she is totally my daughter) we will see next Thursday if she is cut out for dancing!

Field Trip

I got my order from the first half of the Field Trip collection from MJC! I love everything about this collection the design the colors and most of all the way they make those cute girls look even cuter! I am patiently waiting for my 2nd half to arrive!

This is the reason we have screaming matches over doing her hair!

Glad that after enjoying my flowers on my anniversary they didn't go to waste!
