Nine Months

Nine months of pregnancy took FOREVER, nine months with Harper has seemed even longer.....just kidding! Harper Lee, you are by far the most unhappy baby I have had yet, but I couldnt love you any more. I wish time had a pause or slow motion button so I could enjoy the moment a little more. Three more month and you will be ONE wow!!

Memorial weekend!!

Undefeated

The Desert Hills boys had a undefeated spring 2012 season!!

I am so proud of Travis, he leads his team like a quarterback should. I love watching him play, all the touchdowns he scored this season were awesome!!

Cant wait for fall!!

Angels

The last day we had in Cali we went to the beach and after told the boys that their last surprise was dinner reservations. We made the trip to Anaheim and ate dinner at The Cheesecake Factory had a fantastic meal, after they sang Happy Birthday to Travis and Tyler.

The boys didn't suspect anything. they both got totally involved in the iPhone and ipod again and totally missed the fact that we turned down a street that had Angels flags on ALL the street lights. Travis did look up and say "oh there is Angels stadium, it looks like they might be having a game tonight!" We proceeded to pull into the parking lot and pay the attendant and they still didn't really understand we were going to the game. I yelled surprise and they freaked!!

It was a blast, I'm not a baseball fan and I would totally go to another game.

It was a total spontaneous trip and we all loved every single second of it!!

I think we need to make impulse decisions more often!!

Life Is Beachy

We spent sometime relaxing at Coronado beach on Monday. When we got there Robert wanted to make sure he was parked legally so he went and asked the beach guy (?) and found out a submarine was coming in, so we sat on the beach and watch the sub appear out of no where (very cool). The boys had a blast playing army in the sand hills, Scotlynn and Harper just loved getting their hand dirty in the sand. Harper is cracking me up with all the funny faces she pulls.

It was a VERY good day

Ten!!

For Travis' birthday this year we surprised him with a trip to San Diego!! We told him we were going to Vegas for the weekend.

He had a football game on Saturday that they won for a undefeated spring season. Go Thunder!!

After the game we headed out and with the ipod and iPhone the boys didn't even notice that we had got to Vegas, but leave it to my VERY observant VERY smart three year old to announce that we had arrived in Vegas. The boys didn't even pay attention so getting through Vegas was a breeze. Scotlynn once again had to bring it to every ones attention that Vegas had disappeared (dang her) that's when the boys started asking questions.I let them in on the fact that we were making the trek to San Diego and going to Sea World, but kept the fact that they got to swim with the dolphins a secret.

Sea World was so much fun we got to see and do everything we wanted in the 1 day we had. Travis loved the dolphins. I haven't seen a smile that big in a long time. It was a wonderful experience!! After the dolphin encounter I let them know that we had one more surprise to which Travis informed me that he was sick of surprises and just wanted to know what we were doing. Robert and I didn't crack though we kept them in the dark until the next day for the next surprise. Stay tuned to see what it was and the story behind the reveal!!

I cant believe Travis is 10 already......where does the time go?
