Fire, Fire, Fire

Robert and the boys went camping for the 24th so we had a little firework celebration at Ashlee and Shawn's house! Scotlynn, no longer thinks fireworks are scary, she now thinks they are "beautiful"!! I just love the picture where she is folding her tiny little arms.  Oh................ and the one with Ashlee and her pout face. I think that's when she found out the only city doing big fireworks was Ivins.

Gideon

This is supposed to be my last week watching Michaels kids and I am going to miss this kid! Gideon has done a complete 180 since I first started watching him. He is so funny and sweet, he is one of Scotlynns best buddies. They are so funny together, now that they are both getting older they talk to each other in some strange language that works for both of them. I had to get some pictures of my Budder before he grows up and forgets that he ever called me mommy and spent every other week at my house!

When it is this HOT out side I guess the only thing to do is buy a blow up pool and live in your swimming suit....................or at least that's what my kids and I have done!

Party planners block

I have been trying to get excited for Scotlynn's 2nd birthday now for months. I pretty much knew what direction I wanted to go with it but just could not get creative with anything! So the other day I was at the $1.00 isle in Target and found some stuff that made my heart beat fast and the creative light bulbs turn on!! Needless to say Rag Ann is out the window, we love her dearly but I just couldn't get in the planner mode with that theme (even with a whole party blog that step by steps the party for you). I am a sucker for themes as anyone who knows me will say! I'm an even bigger sucker for themes that will make great pictures so the new theme is.................. Woodland Creatures and I love everything about it!!!! We are going to get Scotties 2nd birthday pictures taken by the one and only Alisha Shaw from One Memory At A Time on Tuesday and I'll tell you what it is going to be prop city. Alisha is going to think I am a freak with all the ideas and props that I bought and made just for this photo shoot and party. We are also going to get some mommy and me shots(cheesy), because Scottie is what I think ??? will be my last baby and I hate to see her grow up *tear, tear*! I have her clothes planned down to the socks and hair elastics now its what to wear? what to wear for me??? I am going to have to rack my brain to think of something I will love that may compliment the cuteness of Scottie and her birthday props!!! I spray painted the picture frames and added fabric and some burlap cuties I cut out and how cute are those props?? They are only two of a the things I am so excited about!

I am a TOTAL sucker for garden gnomes !! I don't know what it is but I love the little guys so I am so happy that all the stuff I bought for the party I can keep and use afterward for my yard and house! I think for Halloween this year I am going to have Scotlynn be a garden gnome.

So excited for Scotlynns 2nd birthday photo shoot on Tuesday I almost forgot it was Friday! I have been searching the internet for stuff we can use all day!

Sleep, dentist, movie and VACATION!!

Scotlynn gets so tired at bedtime but fights sleep tooth and nail! Sometimes sleep wins and it doesn't matter where she is she just falls asleep. Poor Zoe probably prays that Scotlynn will find her own bed when the sleep wins and Scottie gives in!

Both my kids have a dental check up tomorrow. I am hoping they both pass with flying colors because after the dentist we are off to see Despicable Me with papa and grandma and I don't want to be mad the whole time I am watching the movie!!
Today I am one step closer to our out of the country get away. I went to Costco and got my passport renewal photos. Now I just have to write the $110.00 check and put it in the mail box then the waiting game begins!! I hope I get it back by November or Robert, Michael and Andy will be going without me.

Dresses and pictures!

I got bored today so I decided to make Bella a birthday dress and then we decided we should do some five year pictures for her!!

Time to Travel!!

Scotlynn is finally at the age where I feel like I can leave her for a week or so and she will do fine (I on the other hand might not)! Robert and I have been talking about taking a vacation for a while now but have never been able to come to an agreement as to where we should go. Robert wants beach and sun, I want adventure and history. I think we finally agree on a place but in order to get there I have to renew this baby.............................

I cant wait to get out of the country!! It may not be warm and tropical but It will be a wonderful time and a great  experience with my man.......and maybe Michael!!
