I think we need a good dental plan!

Whether we are on a desert trip with Grandpa in the backyard or visiting Austin and Grace "rockies" with a side of dirt is always on the menu for Scotlynn! Just some of the things that drive me totally insane which she thinks is hilarious!

Our weekend

Saturday we went to Springdale for the annual St.Patty's day PARADE complete with candy, belly dancers, bongo drums and a marching band!!!

After the parade we headed across the street to The Bit n Spur for a green Jello eating contest a bounce house and some good old vitamin D (thank you sun for joining us in Springdale).

On our way home we stopped at the Rockville cemetery to clean my babies graves take down Christmas (I know I am a slacker) and give them their Easter Baskets that my mom bought (thanks mom).

Creative Cleaning!!

I desperately needed to get the kitchen clean and Scotlynn was throwing a fit about getting in the bath tub so I decided to get creative. She is happy and I dont have to sit in the bathroom and waste an hour.

Our weekend

Our week end started on Sunday due to Robert working ALL day Saturday in Big Water. Sunday morning we woke up talked about how much the time changing sucks and then decided we would go to the Egg and I for breakfast, after breakfast we decided to go to Lowe's to get some supplies I need to refinish some D.I. furniture I bought. Lowe's is always a super fun store to go in with kids (sarcasm) we almost made it out with no injuries when while enjoying paint samples I hear a CRASH and then a Scotlynn scream and I see Robert running, apparently Scottie had climbed on to one of those flat bed carts and was dancing around on it when Travis got a brilliant idea( more sarcasm) to push it and down went Scottie. I walked up and Robert was trying to console her when she lifted her head and I see blood dripping out of her mouth so I took her to the restrooms to clean her up and notice that her teeth had gone right through her lip, right through leaving two little holes on the outside and four perfect teeth holes on the inside. I have said it before this little girl is going to put me in a early grave. I am just waiting for the next injury and I'm sure its not to far off at the rate we are going!











When we got home we enjoyed Alice in Wonderland cartoon version and then Robert and Travis went and played a round of golf together which I was told went well. After the golf game the boy's came home and we decided to fly Scotlynn/Travis' new kite, Scotlynn picked it Travis flies it!






Perfect way to spend a Sunday!!!

Do I really say damn it that much?

Scotlynn is a very smart little girl and she seems to really like repeating EVERYTHING I say! Today I was in the kitchen making headbands and she grabs the phone to call Papa's and the pretend conversation went something like this
Scotlynn: "Hello Pappa's, Papa's,PAPA'S(yelling)"
Me: "Scottie are you calling Papa?"
Scotlynn: "Yeshhh"
Me: "What is Papa's saying?"
Scotlynn: while holding the phone to her ear she puts her finger up to her mouth "shhhhhhhhh mommy"
Me: "what you want me to be quiet?"
Scotlynn: "damn it mommy"
Sometime she will just throw me a curve ball like that, and as much as I want to tell her that she can not say words like that all I can manage to do is laugh. Its like 1 1/2 going on 15!
