Thank you Papa's

Lately I have been realizing that I may be O.C.D. not with cleaning(for sure) or hoarding necessarily but with new hobbies. I find myself obsessing about things I find that I love like shoes, clothes, home decor and upholstery fabric etc. thank goodness for Anthropologie it takes care of three of those and Mood takes care of the fourth, when I say obsession I mean I think about them even in my sleep. I have been really trying to get my living room in order and some what decorated my list went something like this :

  1. Chairs
  2. Bookshelf
  3. accent tables/ottomans
  4. coffee table
I took care of the first three then I saw a coffee table on the Pottery Barn web site that was totally out of the ordinary and totally out of my price range but I fell in love with it so I showed a picture to my talented, creative, and amazing dad(who promised me he would build me a furniture item years ago) who said I can make that! This is the coffee table so far, we still have to put metal around the wheels and corners and the bolts on the top but I LOVE it!! I have a feeling this is going to be Scotlynn's new sitting spot! Thanks dad, you never cease to amaze me. I love you with everything I have!!!

I will post some pictures when it is totally finished and my living room is clean but, where the cleaning O.C.D. thing is not a problem for me who knows when that will be?????

Happy Easter

Travis woke us all up nice and early. He said that the Easter Bunny must have come because someone left a note saying follow the string and string was strung all over the house. After we found the baskets everyone came over for brunch and the big hunt!!

Scotlynn is really sick and not wanting to wake up even for the Easter Bunny!

Potty Time

This is where Scotlynn has been spending a lot of time lately. I think its great that she likes sitting on the potty but I hate having to sit in there with her! So far she has no problem doing #1 or #2 on the toilet its getting her to consistently use it, that is going to be a challenge! Robert bought her some big girl "berbell"(Tinkerbell) unders and she loves them! Now if I could just get her to stop peeing on "berbell" life would be good!

FYI- That is paint on the toilet from Robert painting the walls!!

I love these ladies!

Its funny when I was young I never thought when I was biting Ashlee so hard I made her bleed or beat her with a broom stick so bad she had welts and bruises, that I would ever say that she is my best friend. We can look at each other and just know what the other is thinking we have also been known to finish each others sentences or say the same thing at the same time!!! I wouldn't want to live in a world without Ashlee!!
Never thought when I would scream that I hated my mom and wished that she was dead (sad to admit but I was a little shit and did say it) that I would be as close to her as I am now. I used to hide EVERYTHING from her now I cant wait to tell her everything about me the kids, Robert and our lives. She is a hard working, kind and a all round awesome woman and I hope when I am 60 I am half the woman she is!
And last but not least Alisa, I remember sneaking into her room and putting her smelly room discs in the warmer and her not letting us use the bathroom downstairs even though it was technically the girls bathroom. I remember when she moved back in with us when we lived on Indian Hills, I think I was about 11 she had to stay in my room because I had a trundle bed, I hated her so bad that I wrote her a note that said just exactly how much I hated her then I slept under the bed so she couldn't find me. Now Alisa is my shopping buddy! She has the ability to find just about everything that ever existed to match my home at a price that you just cant resist! I am so thankful I have sisters and a wonderful mother that even when I was chasing around the house with with a knife because I didn't want to clean my room never loved me any less and would and still does work her fanny off to get my dad and us everything that we need and most of what we want! I love you ladies!!!

After looking at this picture I think my mom really got cheated in the eyebrow department!
