Sexy at 60!

New family member

Meet Randall, Travis' Gecko. Trav got Randall to help him learn responsibility and so far he has done a wonderful job! Evey night before Trav goes to sleep he makes sure Randall has enough meal worms and fresh water because he knows there is NO way that mom is going to stick her hand in that tank or touch a worm for that matter. We thought he looked like Randall on Monsters Inc.

Look who came to visit!

Dani, Ashli and three of their friends came Thursday and spent the night with us on their way to Vegas. All five found a place to sleep for the night and then they were Vegas bound!!! On their way home today they stopped by so Dani could give Scotlynn this adorable outfit that matches hers from H&M I had no idea H&M sold kids clothes!! Thanks Dani your such a good cousin keep up the good work *wink*wink* we love you!!! She brought back another treat for Scottie that I am going to have to get pictures of before I post about them!!!

19 Months

Scotlynn will be 19 whole months old in a few short hours wow where does time go? I love this age she is so aware of things and watching her little mind work is exciting! Right now Scotlynn:
Says please every time she wants something from me and thankyouwelcome (all one word) after I give it to her.
If she spills she will ask for a paper towel and will wipe up her mess if I give her one.
If something happens and I ask her if she did it she replies "no didn't do it mommy".
She WILL ask for your gum if she sees you chewing it. If you don't give it to her she will state your name and add meanie to the end of it.
She calls Travis Big Brother.
If I ask where her sippy cup is she yells "sippy cup where are you sippy cup".
She asks to take a bath tub and a shower everyday some times more than once for both.
When she smiles really big her front teeth look like beaver teeth.(picture below to prove it)
She has the most amazing big brown eyes that make me melt.
She says yes so cute it kind of like yeth with a bit of a lisp.
She will poop on the potty almost always if I am diligent about watching the signs and when I ask if she has to go to the toilet she takes me by the hand and tells me hurry, hurry, hurry as we run to the toilet.
So much more I could say and new things happening everyday. I am so blessed to be this little girls mom, words can not express the joy she brings me I would be lost with out her!! I love you Scottie potty!!!!

Happy Friday!!

Proud Parents!!!

I am so proud to say that Travis got the Super Scholar award in his class! We went and surprised him at the school assembly where they awarded him a certificate and some strange smelly pencil! Robert and I are so proud of him and his willingness to learn and be the best he can be. We had a celebration noodle fight in the back yard then ate pizza and watched a movie together. I have the coolest little family ever!!!

Model material? I think NOT!

So I have been making these feather/silk flower headbands lately and I was considering selling them on Etsy, so this morning I decided with my adorable new/used yellow chairs and my new found obsession with upholstery fabric I would try taking some picture of Scotlynn with one on and this is what I got!








I don't think modeling is in her future unless there is a market for snot nosed stubborn unhappy little girls then she has a solid job for sure! I am loving my upholstery fabric as a background though!!!
